I was about 8 years old when I moved to live with Ninong Rene and Ninang. They became my guardians as I attended a private school in the Philippines. Ninong made me feel comfortable and made me feel like a part of his family. I have great memories of him taking me to school as I had suffered from motion sickness when I would take the jeepney. He was caring, kind, patient and simply just a loving human being. I am grateful for him for welcoming me as a young child and grateful that we remained close all these years. I am comforted that he went peacefully. Ninang , Rommel, Reynold, Roderick, anna, Aaron and Ryan; my deepest condolence. He will always be in my heart. Hope that good memories bring you comfort. With so much love , Elsa
